$100M Offers: How To Make Offers So Good People Feel Stupid Saying No

Alex Hormozi

What This Book Is About

  • $100M Offers* is about creating an offer customers see as far more valuable than the price you're asking them to pay.

Alex Hormozi argues that businesses often focus too much on getting more leads, improving sales techniques, or lowering prices when the real problem is the offer itself. A strong offer combines the right solution, pricing, bonuses, guarantees, and delivery method in a way that makes the customer's decision easier.

The book introduces Hormozi's concept of the Grand Slam Offer and provides a framework for increasing the perceived value of what you sell without simply discounting it.

Why RVBN Recommends It

Small-business owners sometimes assume they need more advertising when what they really need is a better reason for customers to choose them.

This book forces you to look at your business from the customer's perspective. What outcome are they actually buying? How quickly can you help them achieve it? How much effort or inconvenience does your solution require from them? What makes choosing you feel less risky?

Even if you don't use every Hormozi tactic exactly as presented, those are valuable questions for almost any business owner.

Who Should Read This Book?

This book may be especially useful if you:

  • Have trouble explaining why customers should choose you instead of a competitor.

  • Find yourself competing primarily on price.

  • Get leads but struggle to convert them into customers.

  • Are introducing a new service or product.

  • Want to package existing services into a stronger offer.

  • Feel like your marketing isn't producing the response it should.

One Big Idea

Don't automatically lower your price. Increase the value of the offer.

One of the central concepts in the book is what Hormozi calls the Value Equation. In simple terms, customers perceive greater value when they believe they'll get an outcome they really want, believe the solution will actually work, get the result sooner, and have to sacrifice less to achieve it.

That changes the question from:

"How cheaply can I sell this?"

to:

"How valuable can I make this to the right customer?"

That's a very different way to think about competing.

Put It Into Practice

Take your primary product or service and write down:

What does the customer ultimately want?
Don't just describe what you sell. Describe the result they're actually buying.

What makes them doubt they'll get that result?
Think about guarantees, proof, testimonials, experience, or clearer expectations.

What makes getting the result inconvenient?
Look for delays, complicated processes, unnecessary appointments, paperwork, or work you're asking the customer to do.

How could you increase value without simply lowering the price?
Could you bundle something useful, make the process easier, improve your guarantee, shorten turnaround time, add support, or package the service differently?

Then ask yourself one final question:

If I were the customer, what would make this offer considerably easier to say yes to?
